A Special offer for "First Timer" WC entrants

We'd love to have you join us at the WC. To encourage owners who haven't experienced a field event, the Field Cleo and a mallard

Committee is offering a special Ross Round Scholarship* which will pay the WC entry fee for owner and dog at this year's Specialty WC Test.

Ross Round was an active hunter and enjoyed sharing the joy he had working his Curlies. He was especially generous with his time for those just begining or helping to fix problems retriever owners had with their working dogs. This is an especially fitting offer in the spirit of one who has meant much to continuing the Curly's field instincts, and helping those getting started. More about Ross...

There will be a training day on Monday April 19, so even if you have never had experience in the field, your Curlie probably already knows what he's suppose to do. Once we have you dialed in a bit, there is probably little preventing your dog from passing the test and earning that important WC.

* Ross Round Scholarship There a simple rule: "This Scholarship is offered only to first time WC test entrants and their dog. Any question as to eligibility will be referred to and will be resolved by the Field Chair and Event Secretary."
