National Specialties
The Curly-Coated Retriever Club of America, chartered in 1979, sponsors a national Specialty show annually. Each year, the show is hosted by a different division of the club, and held within that division’s region. The show, often referred to as the National, is an opportunity for breed enthusiasts to meet for exchange of information, socialization, assessment of breeding stock, education, club and rescue fund raising, membership and club board of directors meetings, performance testing, and competition.
